Three killed as Israel renews strikes on Gaza: medics

TEHRAN, July 27 (MNA) – Medics in Gaza say three more Palestinians killed as Israel violates its own ceasefire.

Israeli army has resumed its intensive aggression on Gaza on Sunday. Israel claims the offensive is a response to rockets fired from Gaza into Israel.

On Saturday, the two sides agreed on a 12-hour humanitarian truce requested by the United Nations. Tel Aviv unilaterally extended the ceasefire for another 24 hours, but Hamas rejected the offer.

Hamas says it only accepts a lasting truce if the Israeli and Egyptian blockade on Gaza is lifted and prisoners are released.

Israeli intensified campaign against Gaza has killed over 1000 Palestinians and at least 45 Israelis. Palestinians, however, believe that more than 100 Israeli forces have been killed. Many civilians, including women and children have fallen victim to Israeli offensive on Gaza so far.
